Sligo Credit Union offers our Members a full Payment account Facility Service. This service enables you to send money in and out of your Credit Union account by means of electronic Funds Transfer. When members withdraw funds from their accounts or to obtain a loan, we will ask you for your bank account details. Once we have the details, we will transfer the funds directly into your bank account. This is a very fast and efficient way of getting access to your funds quickly. There is no charge by your Credit Union for this service.
What is an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)?
An EFT is a facility where funds can be transferred to your beneficiary's bank account at your request.
How do I set up an EFT to pay money in?
- Step 1: Obtain your IBAN from Sligo Credit Union
- Step 2: Once an EFT has been set-up, reoccurring payments are available in your Credit Union account(s) within 24 hours from when they are sent.

You can see from the above table that we will be receiving files on a daily basis up to 16.00 hours. Any member expecting funds could have to wait until 16.00 before the money reaches their account as this is dependent on when the issuing bank initiated the transaction.
