We Are Looking For Volunteers!
Sligo Credit Union is looking for volunteers with a background in Governance, Information Technology, Strategic Planning and Development, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Lending Underwriting, Credit Control and Credit Union Movement.
Gap criteria and skill-set of volunteers: Understanding of financial reports and proficiency in IT is desired but not essential.
Sligo Credit Union is looking for volunteers to join us on a fixed-term basis. While financial knowledge is not essential - as a regulated entity, we find a financial background beneficial for volunteer committees of credit or credit control and board oversight, including for the board of directors.

- As we receive a high-volume of volunteer applications, we cannot accept everyone.
- Being a Volunteer is a Governance role, therefore, there is no Operational work involved within the various departments in Sligo Credit Union.
- All volunteers will undergo a Fitness and Probity review on application.
