Sligo Credit Union's Community Fund
Sligo Credit Union's Community Fund was set up to support projects in our local community in Sligo and Leitrim, within our Common Bond. We are very proud of the number of groups we support, and this fund is in addition to what we already do through our Sponsorship projects.
Since its launch in 2023, we have awarded grants to over forty local organisations. We currently hold three funding rounds each year, providing opportunities for organisations to apply and receive support for their initiatives. Each funding round offers €10,000 in grants, with a total annual fund of €30,000, and the maximum awarded to any single organisation is €2,000.
If you are part of a club, group, or organisation with a long-term project, you may be interested in applying for funding. This could help you achieve your goals and make a positive impact on your community or cause.
The 2025 application dates are as follows:
- 24th of January
- 16th of May
- 8th of August
