Sligo Credit Union is a member owned co-operative. It was set up over 40 years ago with the sole purpose of serving its members and giving them choice and control over their financial affairs.
Each member enjoys equal opportunities to vote and participate in decisions affecting their Credit Union. The Credit Union is controlled by a voluntary Board of Directors (all of whom are ordinary members) elected at our Annual General Meeting.
Our ethos is to serve the needs of our community while treating people with dignity and respect.
